The couple from Eastvale in Riverside County, CA, had arrived at the resort on Saturday and spent the evening at dinner before deciding to spend some time on Pechanga's slot machines, before retiring.
And it proved to be a great idea. After betting small amounts on IGT's Megabucks™ Mega Vault™ machine, the husband of this particular couple decided to raise his game with $10 spins. It was the second ten-spot turn that yielded the biggest of payouts. Casino officials confirmed that the couple had been repeat visitors at Pechanga over the last eight years, and aside from winning a few hundred dollars, hadn't bagged anything like the amount of this jackpot.
